Physician - Hospitalist jobs in New Jersey
Physician - Hospitalist examines, diagnoses, and treats hospitalized patients. Manages patients through the continuum of hospital care, seeing patients in the ER and following them into the critical care unit and organizing post-acute care. Being a Physician - Hospitalist orders treatments, tests, and consults with specialty physicians and primary care physician where appropriate. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Additionally, Physician - Hospitalist requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Hospitalist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. This facility is seeking 2-3 Obstetrics Hospitalist Physicians for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details & requirements for this opportunity:- Schedule: 7a-7a OB In-Patient Shifts
- Job Setting: Hospital only. Level III NICU.
- Monthly Deliveries: 22-25
- Credentialing Timeframe: Up to 90 days.
- Board Certification with a minimum of 3 years active experience, active/current skills.
- Active or in process New Jersey licensure. Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certifications are required.
