Physician - Dermatology examines and diagnoses disorders and diseases of the human skin. Prescribes and administers patient medications. Being a Physician - Dermatology performs a variety of laboratory procedures, examines sample tissues, and uses various biological and chemical analyses to identify harmful organisms or pathological conditions. Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Additionally, Physician - Dermatology requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Dermatology's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Essential Responsibilities
This position will work within the Dermatology department to provide comprehensive medical care to ARC’s primary clinic patients treating various conditions related to skin, hair and nails. This is an outpatient medical dermatology position which is a great opportunity to build and manage an outpatient practice. Candidates must be able to work independently and have exceptional clinical skills. The ideal candidate should be Board Eligible or Board Certified and licensed to practice in Texas or have a pending Texas license.
