Physical Therapy Supervisor jobs in Arizona
Physical Therapy Supervisor supervises the staff of the physical therapy division and/or clinic. Assesses physical therapy programs to evaluate the quality of patient care. Being a Physical Therapy Supervisor provides guidance to and monitors the performance of physical therapy staff. Ensures physical therapy staff follows regulatory compliance requirements and standard procedures. Additionally, Physical Therapy Supervisor may perform training demonstrations for physical therapists and assistants. May maintain a small caseload of patients. Requires a doctorate degree in physical therapy. Requires Certified Physical Therapist (CPT). Requires Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT). Typically reports to a manager. The Physical Therapy Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Physical Therapy Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes. Our busy physical therapy clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate physical therapy technician to join our team. In this role, you'll work alongside licensed physical therapists to help patients recover from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. You'll assist with exercises and other therapies designed to help patients regain mobility and strength, as well as provide essential support to our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to help others, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn and grow. Previous experience in exercise is a plus, but not required. We'll provide all the training you need to become an expert in physical therapy techniques and patient care.
