Pharmacy Technician assists a registered pharmacist with support activities and processes required to dispense medical prescriptions. Collects, inputs, and verifies prescription, refill, and patient information. Being a Pharmacy Technician receives and stocks incoming supplies. May prepare labels and routine prepacked orders. Additionally, Pharmacy Technician may be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. May require Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). The Pharmacy Technician possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. We are seeking two full time pharmacy technicians to work in the Rogers Long Term Care (LTC) pharmacy.
Pharmacy technician tasks include, but are not limited to, data entry, communication with providers and patients, and medication handling.
Successful candidates must have or get a Missouri Pharmacy Technician Registration. '
