The Post Harvest Technician is responsible for leading the processing and preparation for production of cannabis. This position performs a variety of tasks and projects including Harvesting, processing, and hand trimming.

Post Harvest Support

• Harvests approximately 1,000 plants from Grow Rooms to Dry Rooms.
• Oversees the drying and curing of cannabis.
• The Post Harvest technician is responsible for the task called “bucking” which is removing the bud from the stem once dried.
• Responsible for all machine processing and hand trimming.
• Provide quality control on cannabis plants and adhere to inventory controls.
• Accurately track all processing and product information.
• Meet production goals set by Production Manager.
• Work closely with the Production Manager and Finished Product Supervisor to ensure timely and accurate tracking and transfers of products.
• May assist in training Post Harvest Technician employees.
• Store and transport products in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitization of cultivation and production zones, tools, and equipment.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following OSHA regulations, organization standards and legal regulations.
• Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect.
• Complies with and understands company operations, policies and procedures.
• Perform other related work as required.
