Pharmacist - Home Care compounds and dispenses prescribed medications and pharmaceutical supplies per physician's instructions for patients in a home care setting. Provides consultation and answers inquiries from patients, families, physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding drugs and their use. Being a Pharmacist - Home Care maintains all required documentation and data on prescriptions, inventory, and patients. Adheres to the Joint Commission standards for Home Care and complies with all regulatory guidelines and procedures. Additionally, Pharmacist - Home Care requires a doctorate degree in pharmacy. Requires Registered Pharmacist (RPh). Typically reports to a manager. Pharmacist - Home Care's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Key Responsibilities- Efficiently verify and dispense at least 250 prescriptions daily in a high-volume setting.
- Work in tandem with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow management.
- Provide guidance on safe prescription usage.
- Manage and streamline the medication delivery program.
- Active and clear Florida State Pharmacist License.
- Minimum 1 year recent experience in retail pharmacy.
- Familiarity with Prime RX (preferred).
- Ability to work between the hours of 9 am to 7 pm with a lunch break. The shifts are 2-3 days per week typically 10am to 6:30pm or 10:30am to 7pm.
- $45 per hour

Pay: $50.00 per hour
