Let's be honest, we all know how we feel when we don't get paid on time.  And since we're committed to making the world a better -and happier- place at 1 HOTEL HANALEI BAY, our Payroll team is very important to us.   We’re currently seeking a hyper-reliable, laser-focused and instantly trustworthy Payroll Manager to keep our people very happy.  

Our Payroll Manager will prepare regular payroll reports for review by leadership, stay in-the-know on all applicable state and federal wage regulations and (preferably) will have knowledge with ADP software. Of course, you’ll protect 1 HOTEL HANALEI BAY’s proprietary info like it’s your own.

Duties include the following:

• Understands all the pay plans and ensures that the calculations set up are paying out correctly.
• Coordinates with Evention on any issues.
• Works payroll weekend to ensure that variable pay is ready to be approved by the DOF on Monday morning and sent to payroll by Monday afternoon.
• Follows up with managers who have not resolved missed punches on a daily basis.
• Makes sure that the data in Evention ties to the POS system.
• Makes sure that the managers do their tip outs in Evention and that each week is completed and settled.
• Gathers all variable pay from all outlets, week by week onto the EIB for Workday.
• Reviews the results of the variable pay once it is in payroll
• Researches all missed pay issues/makes sure they are handled through to resolution.
• Participates in labor and productivity meetings.

Qualifications

About you...

• Passionate about numbers and math and a minimum of 2 years of similar work experience.
• A post-secondary diploma or degree would be a plus.
• Knowledge of ADP Workforce/E Time preferred.
• Advanced knowledgeable of payroll, a strong leader and a proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance.
• Excels at communication, both verbal and written.
• Is flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
