Payroll Administrator is responsible for the accurate preparation, documentation, distribution and reconciliation of payroll and the administration of the payroll system. Reviews the computation of pay and associated deductions for accuracy. Being a Payroll Administrator maintains up-to-date knowledge of city, state, provincial, local, and federal legislation affecting payroll; understands and follows applicable provisions. Prepares required tax filings and other reporting. Additionally, Payroll Administrator may coordinate payroll processing with an outside service provider. Responds to and resolves any inquiries regarding paychecks or payroll reporting. Ensures payroll issues are escalated and resolved promptly. May require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Payroll Administrator work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and efficiently, collaborating with various departments throughout the company, and providing exceptional support to team members with payroll-related inquiries.

Qualifications
REQUIRED
Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll systems is required, 4 years preferred.Proficiency in Workday or similar payroll processing software required.
Strong understanding of payroll principles, regulations, and compliance requirements required.Must be able to work 100% onsite from our Corporate office in Ridgeland, MS.
Must be able to complete 1-2 weeks of overnight travel to Knoxville, TN for initial job training.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy required.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills required.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment required.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities required.
PREFERRED Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS :
Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and mouse, while viewing computer screen. Must be willing to work flexible schedule which may include occasional work after-hours.
