Manager of Patient Experience Analytics and BI Reports

    Job Summary:

    The Manager of Experience Analytics and BI Reports works within the Consumer Insights and Patient Analytics team (CIPA) to deliver reporting and dashboard solutions that meet the organization's needs. This developer role must bring collaborative skills and have excellent organizational, prioritization, communication, and time management skills. Familiarity with Patient Experience data (NRC, Press Ganey, Qualtrics, Alida, etc.) is highly desirable. The successful candidate will demonstrate accountability, flexibility, and adaptability to handle multiple priorities and successfully collaborate with internal customers, development teams, and technology.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Perform analysis, design, development, validation, and implementation of BI reports. Ability to analyze data issues within reports. Design and build lists, crosstabs, graphs, scorecards, metrics, filters, prompts, standard reports, and dashboards. Follow and enhance BI standards and best practices across the team. Collaborate and mentor team members on methodology, design, and architecture. Ensure optimal end-user performance by establishing and consistently executing overall system performance assessment processes and associated action plans. Operates with a wide degree of creativity and latitude. Ability to work on multiple projects at once. Proven capacity to provide estimates to support timelines and deliverables. Provide consultation on complex projects and act as a top-level contributor. Ability to solve real-world business problems by designing and building queries and applying data mining algorithms, writing queries, and designing reports using various toolsets.

    Required Minimum Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Analytics, Business, Marketing or related field Required
    • Master's Degree related field Preferred

    Required Minimum Experience:

    • Minimum 6 years in analytics, business intelligence or related field Required
    • Minimum 4 years Information technology experience strongly focused on consumer and patient experience, data warehousing, and enterprise reporting solutions. Required
    • Minimum 4 years' Experience with reports and dashboard development using scalable tools (Power BI, Tableau, Google Analytics, Click, etc.) Required
    • Minimum 3 years Healthcare, patient experience, or application management Preferred
    • Minimum 2 years Ability to leverage critical thinking in all work product design and delivery aspects. Preferred
    • Minimum 1 year Hands-on experience with data management tools such as NRC, Press Ganey, Alida, Qualtrics, etc. Preferred
    • Minimum 1 year Practical knowledge of project management concepts and methodology. Required

    Required Minimum Skills:

    • Knowledge of common statistical and data mining tools and techniques.
    • Knowledge of MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
    • Must possess strong communication and presentation skills to present and communicate with team members at various organizational levels.
    • Experience working with data warehouses is preferred (Snowflake, Caboodle, etc.).
    • Strong SQL skills and experience with performance tuning are required.
    • BI development, testing, and change management.
    • Experience with requirements gathering and the ability to plan and design scalable BI solutions.
    • Strong analytical and SQL skills, SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS.
    • Relational and multidimensional database schemas and writing queries
    • Hands-on experience with technical support.
