Packaging Supervisor jobs in Massachusetts

We are seeking seeking a 1st shift packaging supervisor. Fast paced, multiple faceted (small order pack, large order pack) large volume

Your job responsibilities will include the following:

· Oversee and manage the daily operations of the shift

· Ensure efficient and smooth workflow

· Monitor employee performance and provide feedback and coaching as needed

· Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of tasks

Focuses on driving Safety, quality and productivity.

· Maintain a safe and clean working environment

· Assist in hiring, training and orienting new employees

· Manage inventory and order supplies as needed

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in the food industry is preferred - 4-6 years supervisory experience required. Experience in both the packaging side and production side of the business.

· Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Basic math skills for inventory management.

· Bilingual a plus in Spanish, Cantonese or Portuguese.

· Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues.

Pay: $56,091.28 - $65,550.79 per year
