Responsibilities

Position would manage all technical aspects of product, package, process, and manufacturability onboarding:

• Develop and create technical documentation.
• Be Technical Liaison for Customer and Supplier
• Create Packaging Work Instructions
• Manage communications with customers and all technical resources (Inhouse, contract and component suppliers) .
• Establish and manage a packaging laboratory and develop test procedures.
• Coordinate efforts with other Praxis departments for onboarding such as Sales, QA, Document Control.
• Fill in support across range of projects.

Qualifications

Knowledge & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or other related technical field, required or equivalent combination
• 7 years Packaging experience required.
• Experience working in packaged goods and assembly environment strongly preferred.
• Engineering and project management team experience required, preferably in a regulated environment. cGMP, OTC or pharmaceutical preferred
• Experience in managing various levels of employees with different educational backgrounds, work style habits, and employment histories.
• Hands on experience with onboarding customers, package development, specification and packaging instruction creation, design manufacturing experience, plant trial experience, including IQ/OQ/PQ activities and documentation.

Computer/Communication Skills:

• Working knowledge of MS Office programs: Word, Excel, and Outlook, preferred
• Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) related software, preferred
• Ability to present training topics to small or medium sized groups
• Ability to speak and understand English in a manner that is sufficient for effective communication with supervisors, employees, and customers: to include reading and writing skills to understand and complete necessary customer paperwork, required
