Organizational Development Manager manages all aspects of organizational development. Oversees the development of training programs, facilitation of change management initiatives, and review of current development programs to ensure linkage to company goals. Being an Organizational Development Manager develops programs to build human capital and a strong employee development culture. Facilitates the development and implementation of employee performance measurements to gauge the success of programs and identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Organizational Development Manager assesses leadership development, team development, and organizational communication programs and practices. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Organizational Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Organizational Development Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Summary

    The Organizational Development (OD) Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing programs that enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance, and improve organizational effectiveness, supporting the company’s strategic goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of learning and organizational development principles and the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement learning and development strategies and programs that align with the company’s mission, vision, and values.
    • Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
    • Design and deliver engaging training programs, workshops, and initiatives that enhance leadership, employee and team competencies and performance, and organizational culture.
    • Partner with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and business leaders to design customized solutions for the development of their teams.
    • Utilize various training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of training programs.
    • Provide coaching and support to leaders and managers to enhance their effectiveness and development.
    • Partner with HRBPs and other departments to integrate OD initiatives with overall business strategy.
    • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in learning and development.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of L&D programs, using data and feedback to make continuous improvements.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, promoting best practices and innovative solutions.
    • Manage the L&D budget and ensure cost-effective training solutions.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Learning and Development, Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
    • A minimum of 7 years of experience in learning and organizational development.
    • Strong understanding of learning and development theories, practices, and methodologies.
    • Experience with instructional design, e-learning development, and learning management systems (LMS).
    • Experience with change management, leadership development, and employee engagement programs.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions and measure outcomes.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and L&D tools and software.
