Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Optician to join our team. As an Optician, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional eye care services to our patients. You will assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and ensuring their visual needs are met. Duties:
- Assist customers in selecting eyeglasses based on their prescription and personal preferences
- Take accurate measurements of customers' eyes and facial features to ensure proper fit of eyewear
- Adjust frames and lenses to ensure comfort and optimal vision for customers
- Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance
- Process orders for eyewear utilizing the EMR software system
- Maintain accurate records of customer prescriptions, orders, and payments
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in eyewear fashion and technology

Experience:
- Previous experience as an Optician preferred but not required
- Knowledge of products, including frames and lenses
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to optometry
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and managing medical records
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
