**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting and fitting eyewear, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring accurate prescription fulfillment. **Responsibilities:** - Assist customers in selecting frames that complement their facial features and style preferences - Take accurate measurements to ensure proper fit of eyeglasses and contact lenses - Educate customers on lens options, coatings, and enhancements based on their prescription - Adjust and repair eyewear as needed - Maintain inventory of frames, lenses, and contact lenses - Process orders accurately and efficiently **Qualifications:** - Previous experience as an Optician or in a similar role preferred - Knowledge of ophthalmic terminology, lens options, and frame styles - Strong understanding of anatomy related to the eye and vision correction - Familiarity with retail sales, math, and management practices - Proficiency in using optical equipment and tools - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients - Familiarity with Epic or other electronic health record systems is a plus **Nice-to-Have Skills:** - Experience in senior care or medical settings - Understanding of vital signs and laboratory procedures - Retail sales experience with a focus on optical products - Knowledge of medical terminology related to ophthalmology Join our team as an Optician to help individuals achieve optimal vision while providing exceptional customer service.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.80 - $12.57 per hour
