This includes answering incoming calls, making outgoing calls, greeting visitors, mail distribution, ordering supplies, facilities scheduling and maintenance, and administrative tasks as assigned. Provides site support to behavioral health providers, assigned to Newberg. Primary contact for the Newberg community, including attending key community meetings, liaison to agency leadership, creating and maintaining community partnerships, and promoting LCS programming. As the Relief Nursery Site Supervisor this position is responsible, under the supervision of the Therapeutic Early Childhood Program (TECP) Supervisor and in collaboration with the A Family Place (AFP) Program Director, for the planning, implementation, and coordination of therapeutic classroom and home visiting service delivery at the Newberg site; personnel development, clinical/case management and reflective supervision to Newberg Relief Nursery staff. Start enrollment online at: oregonearlylearning.com  MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:   Operational Functions: Manage administrative support functions including answering incoming calls, making outgoing calls, and greeting visitors Oversee mail distribution, ordering supplies, facilities scheduling, and maintenance Execute administrative tasks as assigned, ensuring timely completion and accuracy Community Relations Functions:  Serve as the primary LCSNW contact for the Newberg community, representing the organization at key meetings and events Act as a liaison to agency leadership, fostering effective communication and collaboration Establish and maintain community partnerships to promote the organization's programming and services Relief Nursery Functions:  Under the supervision of the Therapeutic Early Childhood Program (TECP) Supervisor and in collaboration with the A Family Place (AFP) Program Director, plan, implement, and coordinate therapeutic classroom and home visiting service delivery at the Newberg site. Provide personnel development, clinical/case management, and reflective supervision to Newberg Relief Nursery staff. Offer assistance to staff during crisis and emergency situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families. Mental Health Functions: Work with the Mental Health Practice Manager to maintain high quality standards for the assigned clinic site Provide intake screening services for behavioral health clients; screen for eligibility of services and appropriateness of referral, as well as triage and basic crisis intervention services to adults, youth and families experiencing behavioral, mental and/or emotional issues Complete all documentation in a thorough, accurate, and timely manner in accordance with the OARs and the agency’s documentation and quality assurance standards SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: Supervises Newberg Relief Nursery Teacher/Interventionists, Assistant Teachers, and Classroom Aide/Food Prep staff, including documentation, periodic classroom and home visit observations, training, and professional development plans. Co-facilitate team reflective supervision group sessions.   EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Four years of experience working with high-risk populations with an emphasis on families with children ages 0-5 in the area of home visiting and/or early childhood classrooms, along with one year of supervisory and/or administrative responsibilities is required. A demonstrated solid understanding of and experience in supervising and motivating staff, as well as providing support to staff in stressful work environments. Demonstrated knowledge and experience of infant and child development, parent-child attachment, maternal-infant health and wellbeing, and dynamics of child abuse and neglect is required. Oregon Registry Online Step 9 required. A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Early Childhood, Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, or a similar related field is preferred. Infant-toddler Mental Health Endorsement is preferred. Experience with reflective practice and reflective supervision is preferred. Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) or Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) credentialing through MHACBO must be current, or ability to obtain credentialing based upon education/experience, or registration with an Oregon accrediting board required. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: A current clearance from the Central Background Registry or the ability to obtain CBR clearance is required. Current pediatric CPR & First Aid certification and Oregon Food Handler’s Card or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment. Must have a current driver’s license, car insurance, and access to a vehicle.
