Skills Needed
Associate degree or higher in computer science, Information Systems, or another related field. Have more than 10 years’ experience working on mainframe legacy systems.
Applicant is required to have knowledge of FLDOE K-12 FTE processes and data.
Programming languages required are COBOL, EZTrieve, CICS, BMC Control products, CLIST and Natural, OS-JCT, TSO and IBM Utility software.
Experience in working with the Department of Education in modifying existing systems for legislative mandates related to FTE, ELL, ESE and all other state reporting formats.
Experience in M-DCPS or another Florida District technology
