We are seeking an Online Banking/Accounting Specialist for our Schererville, IN branch.

Job Summary:

• Responsible for providing outstanding member experiences by responding to and resolving member phone & email inquiries regarding all types of online banking issues.
• Responsible for daily mailing & analysis of overdraft protection transfer and Non-Sufficient Funds fee letters.
• Process daily import of ODP Manager file. Generate overdrawn balance and close account letters and complete analysis of accounts to verify qualification of Courtesy Pay.
• Perform daily review of the New Accounts Report to remove new account flags and determine courtesy pay status.
• Position will also be trained in all accounting/finance functions to provide backup when necessary.

• Work well with a hands-on manager
• Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Be detail orientated
• Be self-motivated during down time
• Be able to multi-task

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• A high school diploma or the equivalent
• At least 1 year experience working in an office environment
• At least 1 year customer service experience; phone experience preferred
• Excellent working knowledge of Excel
• Good working knowledge of Word

These are PLUSES:

• Accounting background preferred but not required
• Online Banking experience in a banking environment is a PLUS
• General knowledge of online banking/mobile apps is a PLUS
• General knowledge of banking transactions is a PLUS
