Supervises and directs employees involved in production, drilling, maintenance, and/or construction through foreman and other lead staff. Being an Oil and Gas Superintendent requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Oil and Gas Superintendent manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. - Perform equipment repair and maintenance tasks
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with Oil fired boilers and furnaces
- Assist on new heating unit and oil tank installations
