Job Qualifications
· Currently Licensed and in Good Standing as a Registered Nurse by the Louisiana Board of Nursing
· Must have a Bachelor Degree with a major in Nursing or other health-related field
· Two (2) years of professional experience as an RN in health community; preferably a skilled nursing facility or a hospital.
· Two (2) years of management experience in a healthcare setting
· Strong written and verbal communication skills and Excellent organizational skills
· Knowledge of Louisiana Medicare/Medicaid regulations and Department of Health and Hospitals Regulations
Job Duties
Are as follows but not limited to;
· Provide clinical oversight of all nursing care employees, services, and functions.
· Ensure high quality and safe delivery of nursing care services to all residents.
· Coordinate provision of nursing care services with strict adherence to administrative policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards.
· Manage daily operations including supervising of staff
· Lead the quality assurance committee
· Plan, develop and evaluate services, programs and activities
· Lead in the recruitment and hiring process and evaluation of staff
· Be responsible for the program's financial success
· Visit client homes as back-up to the field nursing staff
· Provide on-call responsibility
· Maintain pleasant and professional demeanor and work ethic at all times.
