Role Description

This is a contract role for an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing urgent and primary care services in an on-site setting located in Juneau, AK. As an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner, you will perform day-to-day tasks such as diagnosing and treating acute illnesses and injuries, conducting physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner, Nursing, Urgent Care, and Primary Care skills
• Experience in general medicine and providing acute care
• Ability to diagnose and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries
• Strong knowledge of medical procedures, diagnostics, and medications
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with underserved populations is a plus
• Master's degree in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner certification
