Nurse Practitioner - Psychiatric works in collaboration with physicians to manage care for patients in a psychiatric setting. Orders, interprets, and records results of clinical tests and reports results to physicians. Being a Nurse Practitioner - Psychiatric prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment. Provides primary care to psychiatry and at-risk patients. Additionally, Nurse Practitioner - Psychiatric requires a master's degree. Requires Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP). Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Nurse Practitioner - Psychiatric's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. We are recruiting a part time/1099 Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to deliver high quality, evidence-based therapy and medication management. Clinicians will work collaboratively with a health navigator who will assist in patient engagement and logistical support. We strive to streamline everyday tasks for clinicians so that they can focus on delivering clinical care.

- Collaborative agreements and clinical rounds with licensed psychiatrists will be provided as needed
- Providing therapy and medication management for diverse group of patients
- Working in a team-based approach with other clinicians and healthcare navigators
- Regular supervision with psychiatrist for first 2 months
Required:- Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensure in Vermont
- Active DEA licensure
- Commitment to working with diverse populations and diagnoses
- Reliable self-starter who is able to work independently and also as part of a team
- Experience working with all ages including children and adolescents in a clinical setting, 6 years and up
