Nurse Practitioner - Cardiac jobs in Louisiana
Nurse Practitioner - Cardiac works in collaboration with hospital physicians to manage care for patients in a cardiac unit. Orders, interprets, and records results of clinical tests and reports results to physicians. Being a Nurse Practitioner - Cardiac prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment. Makes patient rounds. Additionally, Nurse Practitioner - Cardiac requires a master's degree. Requires Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP). Requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Nurse Practitioner - Cardiac's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Nurse. The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Nurse will be responsible for performing cardiac nursing, assisting in cath lab procedures, and providing specialized care in cardiology. The role is located in Shreveport, LA.
Qualifications
- Cardiac Nursing and Nursing skills
- Experience and knowledge in Cath Lab and Cardiac Cath procedures
- Expertise in cardiology and cardiac care
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Current RN licensure
- Certification in Cardiac Catheterization is a plus
- 3 years RN experience | 1.5 years Cath Lab Experience | BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
