    Key Responsibilities

    • Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical and psychological evaluations, to determine their healthcare needs and develop individualized care plans.
    • Treatment Planning: Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients with acute medical conditions.
    • Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments, ensuring accurate dosages and monitoring for any adverse reactions.
    • Monitoring and Documentation: Continuously monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment, and maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
    • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on their medical conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques to promote recovery and prevent complications.
    • Emergency Response: Respond swiftly and effectively to medical emergencies, following established protocols and procedures.
    • Collaborative Care: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, surgeons, therapists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
    • Adherence to Policies: Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
    • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the enhancement of patient care processes and outcomes.
    • Compassionate Care: Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during challenging times, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.

    Qualifications:

    • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
    • Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
    • Minimum of 5 years of acute care nursing experience.
    • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure healthcare environment.
