    What You'll Do In This Position

    Support the Senior Director, Supply Chain Management in the development, communication and implementation of the strategic objectives and policies, and will provide leadership and direction in alignment with the Senior Director.

    Major Responsibilities

    The Senior Deputy Director will have full delegated authority to act on behalf of the Senior Director, Supply Chain Management in his absence. Responsible to drive communication and execution of the strategic objectives of the business throughout the organization. Works to evolve and implement the necessary operating system in all relevant areas including strategies, value propositions, staffing, market assessments and implementation. Partners with the leaders across the organization to identify organizational efficiencies and ensure customer requirements are met. Partners with the leaders to identify the next big ideas for breakthrough initiatives and maximizing mission impact. Support the Senior Director SCM in complete operation of Supply Chain Management and the varied administrative, operations and support operations. Supports the establishment and administration of policies and procedures to ensure the compliance with all applicable orders and regulations. Serves as mentor, coach, and guide to staff and supports talent initiatives. Other duties as requested by the Senior Director, Supply Chain Management.

    Works with internal/external customers including SRNS Executive Leadership, NNSA, and DOE-EM Counterparts

    Supports the Senior Director in the oversight of Supply Chain Management Operations

    Provides leadership to support the establishment and administration of policies and procedures

    Other duties as requested by the Senior Director, SCM.

    Security Clearance Information

    SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Factors such as pre-employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and/or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance. This list of factors is not exhaustive; pre-employment information and security clearance requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

    Qualifications We Desire

    Preferred Masters or Professional Certification in Supply Chain related fields (APICS, CPCM, CCCM, CFCM, etc).

    Extensive senior leadership experience, leading teams of fifteen (15) or more people

    Experience with influencing through indirect leadership
