Network Service Director directs the operations of the service delivery department for a telecommunications network. Ensures client service is prompt and accurate. Being a Network Service Director is responsible for the design of strategic service plans and promotion of the organization's products or services. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Network Service Director typically reports to a top management. The Network Service Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Network Service Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. Job Summary
This position is responsible for provider Recruitment and Contracting, Education of Providers, and ongoing Provider Service. Ability and willingness to travel within assigned areas of responsibility, including overnight stays.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:- Bachelor’s degree in business OR 4 years’ experience in managed care environment.
- 2 years’ experience in a position that demonstrates leadership abilities and sound decision-making.
- Knowledge of contracts, applications and products; claims processing systems.
- Demonstrated proficiency in provider reimbursement methods.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
- Verbal and written communication skills; organizational and planning skills; ability to take initiative and work independently.
- PC proficiency to include Microsoft Office.
- Ability and willingness to travel within assigned areas of responsibility, including overnight stays.
