We are currently seeking an Office Manager/Accounting Manager to join our multi-brand automotive dealership group. The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in a high-volume automobile dealership office and should exhibit the ability to independently complete tasks while providing support to office management staff as required.

Responsibilities

• Working knowledge of automotive office personnel processes, including processing deals, breaking down deals, auditing deals for accuracy, and monitoring contracts in transit. 
• Communicate daily with other departments to review applicable financial data & procedures.
• Your role in training and supervising other office personnel is crucial. This ensures the timely completion of assigned tasks and contributes to our team's overall efficiency. Reconcile assigned accounts.
• Manage scheduled and non-scheduled accounts.
• Produce, review, and edit journal entries.
• Assist in the completion of Internal, Factory, and External audits.
• Prepare bad debt reports.
• Assist in monthly financial statement preparation, including reviewing and analyzing critical expenses to identify problem areas and recommend expense-saving opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive accounting experience is required, and experience in a consolidated accounting office is preferred.
• Associate accounting degree or equivalent preferred.
• Prior Payroll experience is preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills when dealing with team members and co-workers.
• Experience working in a consolidated accounting office environment is preferred.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Possess a good driving record.
