Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Design Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an architect or designer who is not currently in a managerial role but is eager to step up and take their career to the next level. Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage design projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal team members to develop innovative and functional design solutions.
• Oversee the preparation of design presentations, drawings, and specifications.
• Mentor and support junior team members, fostering their professional growth.
• Coordinate with construction teams to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the building process.
• Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate into design projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture is required.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in architectural design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of project types and design styles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach with a strong desire to advance in a leadership role.

Lead and manage the design team to deliver innovative and creative design solutions
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Utilize software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, and AutoCAD for design projects
- Oversee the development of design concepts from ideation to completion
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project success
- Participate in business development activities to acquire new projects
- Manage project budgets and timelines effectively

Experience:

- Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture
- Proven experience in design and construction management

Pay: $99,796.00 - $112,000.00 per year
