POSITION OBJECTIVE: Provide supervisory oversight of administrative supportive operations specific to child welfare delivery in assigned circuit.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Report directly to NWFHN Operations Manager.
· Assist and support the Operations team to ensure the provision of administrative support to NWFHN Lead Agency contracted providers/CMO.
· Provide supervisory oversight to staff completing Diligent Searches. Ensure processes in place are being conducted in an efficient, fiscally responsible manner that aligns with policies, procedures, statutory requirements.
· Provide supervisory oversight for Well-Being Specialists providing support to case management in completing timely ESSA Staffings and other staffings for the benefit in achieving medical, dental, and educational needs being met.
· Provide supervisory oversight for Family Finders Specialists to ensure on-going efforts to locate relative/non-relative placements to transition children out of licensed care (Level 2 ). Ensure timely review and approval of home studies completed by Family Finders Specialists.
· Maintain positive working relationships with all internal/external partners. Represent NWFHN on special projects or committees as identified.
· Possess effective mechanisms to promote timely problem identification and resolution to assure resources are allocated and quality services are delivered in an effective and efficient manner within the team, in client related staffings, various community committees and operations workgroups.
· Manage/oversee the New Baby Protocol activities to include facilitating pre-baby staffings and post-birth staffings when there are new babies born on open case management cases. Maintain a tracker to assist with process management.
· Oversee compliance with reporting and requirements on all Human Trafficking cases.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with emphasis in the field of
Social Work, Education, Psychology, or Juvenile Justice.
· 3 years minimum experience in Child Welfare Operations.
· 5 years minimum supervisory experience.
· Child Protection Professional Certification. Certification requirement will be waived if continuous work in the field of child welfare.
· Human Trafficking trained (completed within duration of position probation)
· Possess established relationships with Child Welfare partners within Circuit 1.
