Network Engineering Manager manages and implements the plans, designs, and development of all aspects of network systems that will meet an organization's requirements for performance, security, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Identifies network requirements for hardware, software, and services that will provide optimal solutions and meet the capacity requirement for the organization. Being a Network Engineering Manager conducts network architecture design, feasibility, and cost studies. Develops monitoring, maintenance, expansion, contingency, and recovery plans and strategies to ensure the network is responsive to changes in demand. Additionally, Network Engineering Manager keeps abreast with the latest technologies and best practices and utilizes vendors and providers to provide additional resources to support networks. May be certified or has deep knowledge of vendor-specific products. Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Network Engineering Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Network Engineering Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Description

    Process Quality Engineering Co-op will play a key role in the implementation of quality processes and the development and troubleshooting of production processes and equipment. This position will report to the Quality Manager who will serve as your mentor. We at Quantic Evans expect to get great and meaningfully work from our Co-op students and our students can expect to get a rewarding and educational experience in the manufacturing industry, working alongside dedicated professionals.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in the management of internal and external quality audits.
    • Understand and oversee existing processes and workflows.
    • Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions associated with manufacturing processes and product defects.
    • Use statistical analysis to promote continuous improvement.
    • Review and update product and process drawings, specifications, and procedures.
    • Lead and assist in equipment changes, production set-ups, and resolving equipment malfunctions.
    • Ensure quality standards are being upheld.
    • Perform Risk assessments.
    • Collaborate with engineering, quality, operations, maintenance, and production employees as needed and communicate any adjustments accordingly.
    • Ensure compliance with ISO/AS standards and OSHA Regulations.
    • Assist in the management of supplier quality, managing supplier non-conformances and corrective actions.
    • Execute critical quality inspections and other critical operations as required.

    • Able to communicate process updates, issues, etc. effectively with operators and team members.
    • Proactive and enterprising thinker able to switch tasks and prioritize projects as needed.
    • Attention to detail is critical.
    • Ability to make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
    • Excellent planning, time management and organization skills
    • Students pursuing degrees in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering or Material Sciences. Will consider other majors depending on experience.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint
