Network Engineering Director plans, designs, and develops all aspects of network systems that will meet an organization's requirements for performance, security, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Identifies network requirements for hardware, software, and services that will provide optimal solutions and meet the capacity requirement for the organization. Being a Network Engineering Director directs network architecture design, feasibility, and cost studies. Develops monitoring, maintenance, expansion, contingency, and recovery plans and strategies to ensure the network is responsive to changes in demand. The Network Engineering Manager is the leader of the Network Engineering team, accountable for all activities related to Fred Hutch’s Telephony, Audio-Visual Technology, Networking Systems, physical layer and data centers. The NetEng Manager ensures end-users and colleagues experience reliable, highly available voice and data infrastructure services, oversees quality assurance of services, creates and executes the strategic direction and goals and services for the Network Engineering team. Candidate is a highly skilled IT professional with experience in physical layer, data centers, VoIP and other telephony services, AV services, site-to-site and remote VPN, LAN, WAN and WLAN, public and private cloud environments.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $126,901 to $200,574, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
This role will have the opportunity to work partially at our campus and remotely.
This position is eligible for a sign on bonus and relocation.
