Network Control Center Manager jobs in Michigan
Network Control Center Manager manages the daily activities of a network service function to ensure efficient, reliable, and secure operations that meet users' needs. Directs testing, configuration changes, or upgrades to network hardware or software. Being a Network Control Center Manager oversees monitoring of the network traffic and performance to identify and troubleshoot any issues. Leads incident response and implements standard incident management processes, including root cause analysis (RCA) of any issues to identify and deploy corrective actions. Additionally, Network Control Center Manager develops capacity planning forecasts and strategies. Manages relations with vendors and service providers and monitors performance quality to ensure required service levels are delivered. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Network Control Center Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Network Control Center Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cable Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Category 6 and fiber optic cabling installation, good mechanical skills, and experience working in jobs sites with other trades present.If you have network cabling, audio visual, paging, electrical or other low voltage system installation experience, this position may be perfect for you.
Responsibilities:
- Perform work safely!- Install Category 6, fiber optic and access control cabling in commercial environments
- Install cable tray, firestop and paging system components
- Troubleshoot and resolve cable connectivity issues
- Provide excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working on ladders, with hand tools in commercial or residential construction or related services- Ability to use hand tools effectively
- Ability to work on ladders for extended periods
- Pass physical, background check and drug screen upon offer
- Ability to read color coding on cable pairs
- Punctuality
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Category 6 and/or fiber optic cable installation
- Operation of Fluke cable certifiers
- Manlift operation including license
- Knowledge of proper firestop installation
- Fusion splicing
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
