Ingenium Talent is working with a Bowling Green, Kentucky-based manufacturing firm on their search for a full-time Network Administrator. As a Network Administrator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our client's entire technology infrastructure including network devices, desktops/laptops, printers, and peripheral devices. Our client is a family-oriented organization looking for someone who is eager, ambitious, and proactive. This role will be seated at our client's corporate office in Bowling Green. Occasional travel to regional locations may be required as well.
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Design, install, and configure network hardware and software
- Provide daily support of company desktop, laptops, printers, and peripherals
- Set up, configure, maintain, and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies
- Ensure system availability and reliability by proactively managing network resources.
- Perform network maintenance and upgrades
- Respond promptly to hardware and network-related issues reported by users or automated monitoring systems
- Troubleshoot connectivity problems, outages, and performance issues.
- Document network configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Collaborate with different departments to align network solutions with organizational goals.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Evaluate and recommend new solutions to enhance network performance.
Qualifications include, but not limited to:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in network administration, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and services
- Proficiency with network hardware and operating systems.
- Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network , etc.) are advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Computer Information System or a related field preferred but not required
