The Role:
- Designing and validating software controls for robotics and industrial automation equipment.
- Identifying requirements; developing specifications; and implementing, testing, qualifying algorithms for improving function of the exosuit along with ways of utilizing the data from the suit to improve user performance.
- Generating and validating Hardware-in-the-loop test tools and methods
- Writing verification and validation plans for the safety system.
- Collaborating with internal resources and leading external contractors in the development of product improvements.
- Analyzing failure modes of the control system, the effect of the failure, identifying mitigations and diagnostics
- Driving projects to closure; ensuring that systems could be easily be configured, deployed and maintained.
About You:
- BS in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
- Experience with sensor selection and interfaces
- At least 4 years industry experience in controls development
- Experience programming with C, Python, and Golang
- Experience with Linux/Unix
