Mortgage Underwriting Manager provides quality mortgage loans to customers. Reviews and develops all aspects of mortgage loan guidelines to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. Being a Mortgage Underwriting Manager monitors processes and systems of mortgage loans and promotes the new line of businesses. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Mortgage Underwriting Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Mortgage Underwriting Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Mortgage Underwriting Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Mortgage Loan Assistant
Position Overview :
The Loan Officer Assistant is responsible for managing the loan officers’ schedules and assists the Loan Partner. The Loan Officer Assistant I also manages the branch lead tracker, branch database, and maintains business rapport.
This position is Monday through Friday, with working hours of 9 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m.
Job Responsibilities :
- Schedule all loan officer appointments, including new leads and additional appointments for the Branch Manager.
- Take all incoming calls.
- Assist Loan Partner II with clerical tasks, such as copying and faxing documents.
- Meet branch objectives specific to pre-qualifications and pre-approvals.
- Attend branch events to assist Loan Officer in building clientele.
- Complete and maintain branch-assigned checklists, files, analysis within allotted branch deadlines.
