Responsibilities:

-Processing Mortgage Loans with sponsored lenders.
- Review and analyze loan applications to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and evaluate borrower's financial status, credit history, and collateral to determine loan eligibility
- Verify accuracy of supporting documentation, such as income statements, tax returns, and credit reports
- Collaborate with loan officers, processors, and other team members to gather necessary information for underwriting decisions
- Calculate debt-to-income ratios, loan-to-value ratios, and other financial ratios to assess borrower's ability to repay the loan
- Perform cash flow analysis and evaluate borrower's ability to meet monthly mortgage payments
- Conduct property appraisals and assess property value to determine loan amount
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local lending regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage underwriting or related field
- Strong knowledge of loan origination process and mortgage industry regulations
- Proficient in technical accounting principles and financial analysis techniques
- Excellent data collection and analysis skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex financial information
- Knowledge of mortgage servicing practices and procedures
- Strong mathematical skills for performing calculations and quantitative analysis
- Familiarity with banking systems and software used in mortgage underwriting
