Role Description

This is not for everybody. It takes smarts and being a collaborator, and a fast learner. There are times that you will be out of your comfort zone and must be relentless with thick skin. There is a draw against commission position, so you must eat what you kill. There are many "glass balls" in the air, and you cannot break one! This is a full-time hybrid role as a Mortgage Loan Officer. As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will be responsible for assisting customers in the mortgage process, including providing information on loan options, gathering documentation, and guiding them through the underwriting process. While this role is primarily located in Bend, OR there is flexibility for some remote work throughout Central Oregon.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer or in the Mortgage Industry, with knowledge of mortgage lending and underwriting processes
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with clients.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work with sensitive information.
• Good problem-solving abilities and abilities to work efficiently under pressure.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of relevant software and tools
• Strong ethical standards and compliance with regulations and industry best practices
• An understanding of financial analysis and credit evaluation
