Salado Isolation Mining Contractors, managing and operating contractor of the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) is currently seeking a qualified individual to serve as a Geotechnical and Mine Engineering Manager to join our team located in Carlsbad, NM.
The successful candidate will integrate mining and ground control activities for the WIPP Underground. Responsible for safe, compliant, and timely integration among organizations personnel. Successful candidate must be able to coordinate multiple activities, supporting long-term planning with other operations groups. Will provide bi-weekly ground control updates to the Department of Energy. Duties include, but are not limited to:
