Preform Solutions, Inc., a leading manufacturer in the packaging industry with over 20 years of experience, is seeking a Millwright to join our Maintenance team in Sioux Falls, SD. We are known for our commitment to quality and innovation.

The person in this role will work closely with the Maintenance Manager to plan and execute where equipment will be installed and moved. If there is downtime between projects, they will assist the Maintenance department with other projects.

Responsibilities

• Work with Maintenance Manager to plan and prioritize expansion projects and adjustment of equipment in the building to support production expansion.
• May help with fabrication of parts and equipment
• Set-up new equipment
• Disassemble and reassemble existing equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions
• Repair or replace parts and assist with equipment start-up to ensure successful operation
• Work independently or collaboratively on various tasks
• Assist with preventative maintenance as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a millwright or rigger
• Experience with fabrication and/or welding preferred
• Previous machine maintenance service/repair experience preferred
• Ability to multi-task and switch between projects quickly
• Strong communication skills
• Detail-oriented and organized

Compensation

Starting pay for this position is $20.00-$25.00/hour, actual wage depends on previous experience with related job duties
