Responsibilities : Performs necessary repairs and adjustments to systems and components to ensure the proper operation of production machinery and equipment under direct supervision.
Analyzes, diagnoses, and trouble shoots problems, determines the root cause, and makes repairs under direct supervision and performs scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment as assigned.
Experience with CNC troubleshooting, mild programming, and schematic navigation. This applies to, but not limited to Mazak, HAAS, Robert E Morse, amongst others.
Operates drill presses, lathes, milling machines, sheet metal breaks, shears, and other equipment used in fabrication or modification of machine parts and guarding under direct supervision.
Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics in accordance with standard practices, reads and interprets hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics and drawings.
Works with experienced technicians to determine root cause and corrective actions.Follows all safety rules, practices, and established company guidelines.
Other duties as assigned by the manager which may include handling hazardous materials.Requirements : Job Specifications : High School Diploma or equivalent or 0-2 years of experience.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to use all required measurement and inspection equipment.Service oriented with strong communication skills.Cooperative and diplomatic.
