Being a Merchandise Planner plans and coordinates merchandise flow-through. Inputs and maintains data in various merchandising systems. Additionally, Merchandise Planner may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Merchandise Planner gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     The Financial Advisor will be part of a team of advisors focused on team goals. Combine personal and communication skills with all the resources provided for helping clients realize their financial goals. You will be responsible for attracting/initiating/deepening relationships with existing clients and their families by focusing on the clients family tree and their natural market, selling products and services, and gathering outside assets for current clients and prospects. You will assist in creating value and delivering a unique client experience that defines and differentiates our practice through the financial planning process. This position will consistently follow high standards of business and professional ethics and legal and regulatory requirements when dealing with others and/or performing work activities.

    You will provide advice and client relationship support by interacting directly with clients, acting as a liaison to answer client questions, gathering/analyzing client data, qualifying, identifying and presenting financial planning and insurance opportunities and solutions, preparing preliminary case work, incorporating tax strategies, preparing reports or visual aids to be used in client meetings, responding to ad hoc requests and coordinating/tracking projects, as needed. There is opportunity to grow in responsibilities as skillsets are mastered and/or as the practice grows.


    Responsibilities Include:

    -Conduct client meetings to present financial plans, recommendations and/or deliver advice, in office, virtually or over the phone to ensure the service model is delivered to provide value to clients

    -Identify strategies within current plans, including insurance opportunities and tax strategies

    -Review upcoming meetings to perform case analysis and research, provide recommendations, act as technical resource

    -Utilize financial planning tool (Naviplan) to create planning deliverables, as needed

    -Meet with lead advisors to discuss ideas/opportunities/strategies to increase the value we deliver. Complete actionable follow-up items from meetings

    -Write presentable notes and/or summary letters/emails to clients of administrative or planning nature, as needed Identify clients to engage or re-engage in planning relationships; convert through goal assessment

    -Work with the insurance coordinator to develop insurance deliverables and collaborate on opportunities Research miscellaneous issues for clients at lead advisors request

    -Answer client questions and provide readily available information to clients, as it relates to servicing client accounts and their financial plans or investments

    -Proactively call clients to check in and verify or collect information as needed; hold clients accountable to agreed-upon actions

    -Create a model week for servicing and business development

    -Use key tools effectively that help lead to an efficient service model (in-house technology- CRM) Review work methods and procedures for possible quality improvements and efficiencies, ongoing

    -Compliance management OFM (online file manager), maintain licensing, remain FINRA compliant, monitor CE requirements, firm element, office inspections, continuing education

    -Manage equipment and maintain clean office environment Participate in daily stand-up and weekly team meetings

    -Track wildly important goals, leading activities and financial planning deadlines Address emails in a timely manner

    -Document client contact/calls in contact management system (Salesforce CRM) Attend and participate in team outings, book club and client events outside the office Serve as back-up to other team members/advisors, as needed

    -Assist financial advisors as called upon


    Business Development

    -Deliver effective comprehensive financial planning advice to create a referrable experience Deepen relationships; learn and implement client referral conversation

    -Develop multi-generational relationships with clients

    -Leverage natural market, network marketing and centers of influence to drive new client acquisition

    -Contact prospects to gain commitment to meet and/or engage in the financial planning discussion/relationship Drive attendance to practice marketing events and follow up on prospect introductions for engagement


    Experience/Designations

    Experience, 5-8 years

    Industry licenses (Series 7, 63/65 or 66, life/health/variable insurance) required

    CFP ® and/or CRPC ® (or other relevant designation), preferred


    Compensation

    Base plus bonus, benefits package included. Compensation commensurate with experience starting at $90k .
