Mental Health Clinician - MSW jobs in Mississippi
Mental Health Clinician - MSW provides clinical mental health counseling and case management services to patients. Completes patient assessments to identify social and emotional challenges. Being a Mental Health Clinician - MSW may conduct crisis interventions with patients and families. Recommends and coordinates services. Additionally, Mental Health Clinician - MSW coordinates with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement a holistic treatment plan. Typically requires eligibility for state licensure. Requires a master's degree in social work. Typically reports to a manager. Mental Health Clinician - MSW's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Responsibilities:- Perform intake assessments, individual, family and group counseling sessions for a caseload of youth and adults
- Management of the clients’ medical records including, but not limited to, completion of all clinical documentation in a timely manner and the development and updating of Individual Service Plans
- Provide immediate emergency crisis intervention services
- Assist in providing and implementing consultation and education services as needed
- Participate in clinical staff meetings, general staff meetings and in-service training
- Master’s degree in Psychology or a Mental Health related field
- Valid Mississippi Driver’s License
- Pass a Criminal Background Investigation
- Must be proficient in computer skills for daily documentation with Electronic Medical Records
