Follows standardized procedures and helps prepare samples for testing. Being a Medical Technologist (ASCP) analyzes test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits. Requires a bachelor's degree and must be a certified medical technologist. Additionally, Medical Technologist (ASCP) typically reports to a manager or supervisor. Schedule: Multiple shifts and schedules available!Medical Lab Technician or Medical Laboratory Technologist Performs routine and special laboratory procedures, accurately reporting results. Ensures quality of results and proper operation of instrumentation. Serves as a resource for laboratory personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum: Associate in Medical Technology, Clinical Lab Science, or Biological ScienceLicense, Certification, Registration:
MLT, MT, or MLS,(ASCP) or equivalent certification or obtained within two years of hire/transfer
Experience:
Minimum: No experience with MT, MLS, or equivalent certification. Two years clinical lab experience with MLT certification.
Preferred: One year experience.
