Medical Billing Specialist (Hybrid position)
Job Duties
Responsible for all medical billing and collection activities. Work with client facilities to gather necessary demographics, insurance for processing claims. Must be competent in and willing to work directly with clients and/or third-party payors to ensure that medical billing is accurate. Process denials. Work with patients. Corrects billing/posting errors and resubmits claims to third-party insurance carriers as needed. Work with management on any issues/ trends. Must have excellent communication skills and enjoy working with clients and third-party payors.
Requirments:
At minimum 1 year Medical Billing Experience
Staying up to date in coding guidelines, rules and regulations, and communicate and enforce compliance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good typing skills, and proficient calculating numbers.
A desire to help others, and work in a team environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
