The role of a General Sales Manager for MARC Media is to lead and oversee the sales team for a particular business unit. GSMs are responsible for developing strategies, managing sales operations, and driving revenue growth, while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals.
· Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.
· Set sales targets, quotas, and objectives in alignment with company goals.
· Meet your personal sales targets and quotas.
· Build your personal client portfolio.
· Analyze sales data, market trends, and client feedback to identify opportunities for growth in your designated market.
· Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in your business unit.
· Monitor and evaluate sales performance, providing guidance and support to improve results.
· Collaborate with company marketing and programming teams to enhance sales initiatives.
· Manage budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation for your unit.

· Implement the MARC sales training programs to enhance the skills of your sales team.

· Established track record of driving revenue and meeting or exceeding sales objectives.
· Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate a sales team.
· Preferred Qualifications:
· Minimum of four years of radio sales management or equivalent media sales management
· Minimum of eight to ten years experience working in radio or equivalent media experience.
