Being a Mechanical Engineering Technician conducts clerical research tasks and summarizes and reports findings to support research and development of new technologies or processes. Installs, calibrates, tests, and repairs mechanical components and engineering solutions. Additionally, Mechanical Engineering Technician fabricates, modifies, and assembles new or existing mechanical components. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Mechanical Engineering Technician works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Keystone is in search of a Mechanical Engineer with 3-5 years of consulting engineering experience in designing HVAC, plumbing and fire systems for commercial, municipal, or industrial facilities to join our Seaford, DE team.
Seaford is located in lower Delaware. Tax free shopping, outlets, restaurants, nightlife, and sunny beach days can't get any closer!
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will design various HVAC system types, plumbing, fire alarm, and fire protection systems. Additional responsibilities include construction administration and field investigation tasks for projects, field inspections, developing system narratives, completing load calculations, equipment selection, and other related design tasks.
A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required for this position, with an E.I.T. or an active Professional Engineering License preferred.
We would also look for experience in AutoCAD and Carrier HAP load calculation software.
Our Engineers travel locally to client sites and occasionally have overnight travel trips for projects.
