Materials Handler jobs in Michigan

Crown Staffing is currently seeking experienced Materials Handlers to fill openings with a local manufacturing company in Manchester, Michigan.

Job Summary: To receive raw materials and load outgoing shipments.

• 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available
• 1st: (6:00 AM-2:00 PM)
• 2nd: (2:00 PM-10:00 PM)
• 3rd: (10:00 PM-6:00 AM)

Required Education and Experience:

• Prefer minimum high school diploma or GED
• Valid lift truck experience
• One-year experience in a manufacturing environment; preferably in Automotive
• Knowledge of quality standards

Essential Functions:

• Abide by all company policies including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human Resources policies, and more
• Loads and unloads trucks daily when required
• Responsible for receiving all incoming material, doing blind tally's as required
• Performs daily dock audits and reconciles receiving discrepancies
• Ensures receipt of goods is done accurately and on time per window requirements
• Maintains product flow at production lines as required
• Complete necessary paperwork and safety audits of equipment as required
• Performs min-max audits (records per GM requirements) and any inventory functions as required
• Perform all other reasonable duties as assigned
• Maintain plant housekeeping as required
• Ensures FIFO process is being followed
• Follows all safety processes and protocol
