Market Research Supervisor supervises activities in the market research department. Ensures appropriate use of analytic techniques to determine demand for products and services. Being a Market Research Supervisor interprets and predicts consumer trends, formulates research and development proposals, and monitors research projects. A level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. Additionally, Market Research Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. As a full-time employee, you will work on one of our Teams, covering publicly traded companies in one of the following sectors: Consumer, Technology, Health Care, or Industrial.
Responsibilities include:- Write and publish reports for customers, including gathering insights from channel relationships and utilizing survey insights
- Assist with planning and coordinating CRC-hosted events
- Attend industry events to gain understanding of the industry and expand relationship network
- Create presentations for CRC-hosted events and webinars and industry speaking engagements
- Assist on custom Advisory Services & Consumer research projects
- Potential growth opportunity with a path towards helping manage a Council
- Comprehensive training program including classroom style sessions and job shadow experiences
- Participate in weekly analytical group discussion with the President
- Travel to industry conferences, trade shows, and CRC-hosted events
- A graduate or an undergraduate degree
- 1-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, business, consulting, or related fields
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Strong relational skills
- Well-developed analytical skills with the ability to master complex tasks and multi-task with minimal supervision
- Outstanding time management and organizational abilities
