Revenue and Margin Generation Leader

McVantage Packaging specializes in manufacturing, repairing, and recycling wooden pallets and crates servicing the Central-Southeastern U.S. from our plants in Tuscumbia, AL and Nashville, TN. Our Tuscumbia operation includes a scragg mill and various production stations for manufacturing and reprocessing our lumber products and packaging product components. Both the Nashville and Tuscumbia operations are then able to assemble those products into our pallets, crates, and other products.

An industry leader in the packaging, wooden pallet, and crating industry, McVantage Packaging, LLC, is looking for the correct person to become the first Revenue and Margin Generation Leader for the growing company.

Compensation:

Base pay of $85,000 PLUS performance. Maximum compensation is only limited by the person’s abilities and performance. Please note that the salary listed is subject to adjustment based on factors such as education, experience, and performance.

Territory:

This position will cover the mid-south marketing region of the multi-location company. This position may also involve work outside of the current marketing areas of the company as the need arises to solve problems for the customer base.

Description of responsibilities:

• The position is a top management team position and will be responsible for handling all areas of revenue and margin generation.
• Identifying, engaging, and closing deals with new prospects and customers.
• Working with the existing customer base to expand offerings and transactions while solving additional problems.
• Working with the rest of the team to develop and ensure customer interactions with the company elicits more and favorable interactions.

Requirements:

• First and foremost, this position requires a cultural fit within the McVantage team and an understanding and belief in the company’s Core Values.
• Excellent communication skills.
• At least a high school diploma. Additional education as well as training in marketing and sales techniques is favored for this position.
• This position highly values past experience in the sales environment and continual learning of new and improved communication skills.
• Some experience working in the pallet industry is preferred but not required for the position. However, continual learning of the industry will be a requirement.
