Position Summary
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will use and maintain a variety of specialized equipment, hand tools and power tools to perform a variety of tasks such as riveting, clamping and drilling for both military and commercial product programs. Essential Duties include but are not limited to:
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, technical procedures, and other related material
- Following work instructions and material travelers to ensure conformance to design and product specifications
- Setting up, arranging, and operating production equipment per the specifications and instructions from the supervisor
- Performing in-process and final inspection testing to ensure product meets specification
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Mechanical aptitude required
- Ability to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings required
- Proficient in use of crimpers, torque wrenches, vacuum leak detectors, soldering iron, brazing equipment, and other assembly/test hand tools
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs. regularly required
- Good analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills required
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and schedule required
- HVAC/R and electrical knowledge and experience preferred
