Manufacturing Engineer Manager oversees the development and implementation of manufacturing processes to maintain proper product functionality as well as cost efficiency.     Responsibilities:

    Process Optimization:

    • Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
    • Develop and implement strategies to optimize workflows, minimize waste, and improve overall process reliability.

    Quality Assurance:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards of product quality are maintained throughout the manufacturing process.
    • Implement and oversee quality control measures, troubleshooting any issues that may arise to prevent defects and ensure compliance with industry standards.

    Continuous Improvement:

    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by conducting root cause analyses and implementing corrective actions to address process inefficiencies and defects.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to integrate innovative solutions into manufacturing processes.

    Equipment and Tooling:

    • Evaluate, select, and implement appropriate manufacturing equipment and tooling to enhance production capabilities.
    • Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure equipment is properly maintained and downtime is minimized.

    Documentation and Reporting:

    • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of manufacturing processes, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
    • Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and maintenance, to ensure seamless integration of process improvements and achieve overall organizational goals.

    Qualifications:


    1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
    2. Proven experience in a manufacturing/process engineering role, demonstrating successful process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
    3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and strategically.
    4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    5. Proficiency in using engineering software and tools for process simulation, data analysis, and project management.
    6. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is highly desirable.
    7. Experience with large plastic and/or composite parts are a plus.
